Support ACNA Chaplains

The ministry of the Special Jurisdiction for the Armed Forces and Chaplaincy is sustained through the faithful generosity of chaplains and supporters who believe in the mission for those who serve in uniform, in hospitals, prisons, schools, and a wide range of chaplaincy settings.

Your gifts directly strengthen the ongoing work of the SJAFC and help ensure that its clergy are equipped, encouraged, and able to minister effectively wherever they are called.

Become a Chaplain

Chaplaincy is frontline ministry in the Anglican Church in North America. Chaplains are ordained ministers who have answered the call to serve at the very heart of human crisis and institutional life.

As a chaplain, you don't wait for people to come to church; you bring the Church to the people wherever they are - in military barracks and naval vessels, in hospital trauma bays,  in police stations and prison cells, and in university dormitories. ABOUT US

The Special Jurisdiction for the Armed Forces and Chaplaincy of the Anglican Church in North America is the official home for ACNA-endorsed Chaplains. The ACNA has two official Chaplain Endorsers registered with the Armed Forces Chaplains Board:  Bishop David Bena (Diocese of the Living Word). The ACNA Chaplains are led by the Right Reverend Jerome (Jay) R. Cayangyang, Captain, Chaplain Corps, United States Navy, as the Second Bishop of the Armed Forces and Chaplaincy.  The Reformed Episcopal Church is a founding “sub-jurisdiction” of the Anglican Church in North America and has its own ecclesiastical endorser for all chaplains who are canonically resident with the Reformed Episcopal Church.
